A New World server merges update recently arrived in the form of a response on the forums about when they will happen. With the recent New World server transfer update and not longer being suspended, they are now testing server merges to ensure they will be ready when the time comes. 

The New World population concerns continue to grow as the average daily concurrent player counts and player peaks slowly decline. Some of this is natural for new games, and the New World steam charts have been largely misrepresented by video game news outlets. But the question certainly remains, how low can servers get before a merger is necessary?
