Salquist will likely not be missed - he only appeared in 14 matches due to injuries - and when he played, looked like he could not keep up with the pace and physicality of MLS.

The former St. Louis City manager will likely play a high pressing style on the pitch, and off the pitch will likely agree with everything General Manager Ernst Tanner does. This hiring puts all the pressure on Tanner to get things right, or he'll likely be the next employee shown the door for the Union's failure.
