The Supreme Court of the United States has played a critical role in the interpretation of the law, passing down decisions that have altered the course of American life time and time again. While the structure of the Court and arguments before them are public, the legal jargon and inner workings can be hard to understand. 

And May It Please The Court seeks to do two things:
(1) Provide a basic understanding of the workings of the Court
(2) Summarize and translate important rulings that affect your life.
Ultimately, we believe that the Supreme Court is complicated, and we aim to give you, in essence, a briefing of what is going on and what it means for we the people.
