This is the fourth sermon in my 2021 January sermon series, "New Year's Resolutions". In this series, we examine four primary resolutions that I have chosen and I believe are worthy of our efforts to follow as best we can. And not just for the coming year, but for the entirety of our time in this life. Each of these four resolutions will look at different aspects of faith, life, and the teachings of Jesus and some of the prophets and apostles. This week we look at the resolution to "Encourage Each Other". This series does not use the Revised Common Lectionary selections for any specific week or year. The Scripture choices for this message are: Hebrews 10:19-25, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11, and Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.
