After a long grueling 162 games schedule, the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets will battle for the World Series title. The 2015 World Series marks the 111 meeting between the American League and National League. The AL leads the overall series 63-47. 

The Royals are making their second consecutive trip to the series. Last year as the wildcard, the Royals lost in seven games to the San Francisco Giants. After six losing seasons, the New York Mets quietly shocked the baseball world by dominating the NL East. The Mets won the division by seven games over the Washington Nationals who were predicted my many to not only win the Division but win the world series. Both teams have strength in pitching but in a different realm. The Mets could have the edge when it comes to starting pitching but the Royals have the edge in the bullpen.  In either case, the traditionalists will tell you that pitching wins. The World Series can not end in a tie, so which team will win the pitching battle?  

The Royals lead all postseason teams with a .271 team batting average scoring 63 postseason runs. Surprisingly, with all the attention given to Daniel Murphy and his home streak, the Mets are only batting .235. Both teams have speed and are aggressive on the bases. The Mets have swapped nine bases while the Royals have stolen seven bases. Which team will come through in the clutch?
