Local Councillor pleads guilty to having created 16 indecent images of children. Councillor Carter is due to be sentenced on the 4th of September.

Two boys were recently approached by a man who attempted to convince them to go back to his house claiming their Dad had sent him to get them.

There has been an increase in reported burglaries and suspicious people hanging around properties in Ramsbottom and the local towns. Remember to report anything suspicious that you see and keep a look out over each others properties. Here are some tips for trying to reduce the risk of your property being burgled:
