James Gates; Silent Sky- We focus on issues of science for people of color and women from two very different perspectives. Jim Gates is a Brown University physicist who advised President Barack Obama on STEM issues. Silent Spring is a play going on at Lanesboro, Minnesota's Commonweal Theatre that tells the story of a pioneering female scientist who helped unlock the mysteries of the universe in the early 20th Century.
