Voters in Orem have decided to keep their schools in the Alpine School District. This is after months of contention in the district over the possibility of the breakup. As of Tuesday night, 72.78% of voters whose ballots had been tallied voted against Orem splitting from Alpine School District, while 27.22% of voters voted to split from the district and form an Orem-only school district.
