Next Week August 21st on Sup Doc: Paco & George talk to comedian/actor Baron Vaughn (Grace and Frankie, Mystery Science Theater 3000, New Negroes) about his documentary Fatherless (2017, Dawn Porter).

Baron is entering his 30s, in a serious relationship, and has lingering questions about the father he never knew. Raised by a single mother in New Mexico, the successful entertainer had to cobble together his ideas about masculinity from all sorts of non-traditional relationships, and ponders the statistical baggage attached to being African-American and fatherless. The viewer accompanies the highs and lows as Vaughn and his film crew set out on the search for his biological father.
