Hello and Welcome to the Go for 2 podcast. I'm the host Carlos but my friends call me Cargo. What started as a Covid hobby has turned into 5 seasons of talking sports. From in-season analysis, fantasy football tips, and game predictions to off-season coverage of free agency, and the draft,– I break it all down for you. So buckle up and enjoy the ride!
I know the draft ended a few weeks ago but I wanted to break down the entire draft. Usually after the draft most people give teams a grade. As for me I’m not a fan of the grades, so I decided that I will be doing my own ranking. This will be an eight part series where I go division by division ranking my favorite draft class to my least favorite. I’m also gonna share some of my thoughts and ideas with you on what I think the team should’ve done.
A few things before I start. I’ll be using a general knowledge of where I think players are ranked. What round I think they should go in? How efficient each team is with their draft capital. More draft capital doesn't always ensure a better draft grade, but teams move up and down the board to get players and positions of need and value. Another thing I like to consider is the consistency by team a team will select players based on their abilities and characteristics. At the end of the day we won’t really be able to understand the impact of a draft class until three years from now.
