It’s time for another Sharp Edges Podcast with Calvin McAlee and Brandon Wittmeyer. Brandon has some interesting games this weekend in a nice college football lineup. Calvin talks some of the biggest games of the NFL weekend and some that may not be so popular. An interesting matchup between two Big 12 teams in Kansas State and Texas Tech. Is Tech the rightful favorite in this game? Take a look at two Sun Belt teams in Troy and UL-Lafayette. One team likes to throw the ball while the other lines to run, who has the upper hand? Louisiana Tech takes on UAB in a big conference showdown, where are the trends leaning in that game? Closing out the college football card is a matchup of two opposite teams in defensive heavy San Diego State and offensive heavy Hawaii.

In the NFL, the first game Calvin and Brandon discuss is the Detroit Lions against the Washington Redskins. Matt Stafford appears to be done for the season, can Jeff Driskel get some wins in Detroit? The Oakland Raiders take on the New York Jets in a must-win game if they want to stay pace with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West. A potential NFC playoff matchup as the Seattle Seahawks are underdogs on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles. Finally, who has the upper hand in the matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the offensively challenged New England Patriots?

Closing out the podcast Calvin gives two picks that his college basketball formula loves on Friday night. Calvin and Brandon also discuss one game that they both like but the formula is split on in the matchup between #15 Utah State and LSU.
