It’s time for another episode of the Sharp Edged Podcast which means it’s time to win some more money! Once again last week’s podcast proved profitable and this week should follow suit. It is bowl season in college football and Calvin and Brandon have four bowl games they like between Saturday and Tuesday. Throw in four NFL games and a ton of Friday night college football picks and this week’s Sharp Edges Podcast is in line to give out a ton of winners!

Calvin and Brandon take a look at the Boca Raton Bowl as SMU takes on FAU on Saturday. Two high-powered offenses should result in a high-scoring game, right? How will FAU do without head coach Lane Kiffin? UAB takes on #20 Appalachian State in the New Orleans Bowl on Saturday. Appalachian State is a big favorite, is it the right move or is UAB a sleeping giant ready to wake up and shock the world?

The third bowl game Calvin and Brandon discuss is the Gasparilla Bowl on Monday afternoon between the Marshall Thundering Herd and the UCF Knights. Can Marshall cover that huge 17.5-point spread or is UCF ready to roll over the Herd? In the final bowl game of the podcast we got BYU taking on Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl. Do the Rainbow Warriors have a big advantage on their home island or is BYU going to scrap out a win?

Heading over to the NFL, the first game Calvin and Brandon discuss is the Houston Texans against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Will this be a high-scoring shootout or will Jameis Winston commit too many turnovers for Tampa Bay to make a game out of this? In the game between the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans the spread is low. Are the Saints in for a hangover game after Drew Brees’ record-breaking game last week?

In a game that has zero playoff implications, the struggling Detroit Lions take on the future-hopeful Denver Broncos. Will Drew Lock continue his solid playing and lead the Broncos to a big victory or will the Lions finally snap their seven-game losing streak? In the final NFL game of the week Calvin and Brandon look at the Kansas City Chiefs vs the Chicago Bears. The Chiefs still have a lot to play for but can they cover the spread against that Chicago D?

Before ending the podcast Calvin gives up 10 college basketball picks for Friday night that his formula likes. After a Navy cover earlier in the day the formula is off to a 1-0 start on the day, will it stay hot? Listen in now and hurry up and get your picks in time for tipoff this Friday night.
