NFL free agency is yet to begin, but players are still finding ways to sign new contracts, whether with their same teams or new ones. Derek Carr will play his 10th NFL season in a black jersey accented in gold rather than silver, as the quarterback signed a four year $150 million contract with the New Orleans Saints. While Carr leaves the west coast, Geno Smith will stay, signing a three year extension with the Seattle Seahawks. Daniel Jones signed a four year contract worth $160 million with the New York Giants while Saquon Barkley receives the franchise tag. Speaking of franchise tags, in a shocking move, the Ravens placed their franchise tag on quarterback Lamar Jackson. Last but certainly not least, it isn't a quarterback conversation without mentioning Aaron Rodgers. It now seems to be a one horse race for Aaron Rodgers, that horse being the New York Jets.
