Another Thursday means another episode of the Sharp Edges Podcast. Calvin and Brandon take an early look at next week’s Super Bowl matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs as well as some popular prop bets. This week’s episode starts off with some discussion about Super Bowl 54. Can the 49ers’ defense stop Mahomes and that insane Chiefs’ offense? The total is high and it keeps rising, but how high is too high? Calvin and Brandon also discuss three popular prop bets that include the O/U on passing yards for each Mahomes and Garoppolo as well as who are some of the best bets for Super Bowl MVP. Looking at tonight’s college basketball slate, Calvin found three games that he loves and the formula is in agreement with. Starting in the Big Ten, Michigan State is a four-point favorite on the road against Indiana. Can the Hoosiers take down or even cover against a ranked Michigan State team? Two games in the Pac-12 caught Calvin’s eye tonight. The first is a matchup between Washington State and Colorado. Colorado is a huge favorite in this one, can they rebound from that blowout loss to Arizona. Finally, Calvin and Brandon look at USC vs Oregon. USC has won 15 games this season but can they cover that big spread on the road against Oregon?

More UFC action this weekend as UFC on ESPN+ 24 Blades vs Dos Santos takes place Saturday night. You better believe Brandon is looking for some more winners after last week’s UFC picks. Brandon takes a look at a number of different fights this weekend including some underdogs that are worth putting your money on. Calvin and Brandon also discuss last week’s McGregor/Cerrone fight.
