NFL week 3 recap; Roethlisberger injures knee, Bengals are 3-0

Listen Later

Three weeks into the NFL season, and every week a starting quarterback has sustained an injury that will keep him out of games. Ben Roethlisberger is the latest quarterback to be injured.  Early in the third quarter, Roethlisberger stepped up in the pocket and as he moved forward Rams safety Mark Barron rolled into his leg.  The findings are a sprained MCL and bone bruise.  Roethlisberger is expected to miss four to six weeks.  The value of a back up quarterback is rising, and could change the demographic of how GM's build their rosters.
Another exciting week in the NFL, as the Ravens are still winless falling to 0-3 after losing to the Cincinnati Bengals.  The Oakland Raiders have already won two games behind the good play of Derek Carr and Amari Cooper. There are seven teams off to an 3-0 start.  Are these teams all playoff contenders?  LIsten in and call the show with your thoughts.
