In the age of globalisation, young people study abroad, workers value mobile careers and more and more international companies are composed of multicultural teams.. 

While this type of pattern  is generally very rewarding, communication across cultures can also be difficult.

Ngọc has turned her  culturally mixed up upbringing into a book, a personal narrative and a sociological concept in which she includes children like herself, whom she has named « weird culture kid »

On Thursday 15 April at 11.30am, we had the honour of welcoming Ngoc Nguyen author and former Incenteever with whom we will discuss this theme : 

She confesses : “Ever since I was young, I’ve always felt very different. It’s quite paradoxical, but this was the only source of constant in my life.”

This questions a more fondamental issue : how does the multicultural generation  really identify itself  today ? Is multiculturalism a burden or a strength ?
