Our last episode featured Judith Obi, the Founder, and Executive Director of Africa Education Aid For Development Network, a non-for-profit organization which is based in Lagos, Nigeria, West Africa.
The organization which was founded in the year 2014, was founded primarily to help provide quality education for underprivileged and displaced children and youths in Africa by increasing children’s access to quality education through integrated programs that eliminate the underlying obstacles which prevent children from going to school and learning.
With Members in Uganda, South Africa, Tanzania and other African countries, they are creating a network of young people doing exceptional things in their communities, Their belief is that their little but collective efforts will amount to the change we all want to see in Africa.
The organization also aim at using education as a tool create awareness, advocate and intervene on various societal challenges including girl child education, ending conflict and violence in society and youth empowerment.
In the last episode, Judith talked about how and why she started the organization, their projects so far and how they’ve been contributing their own quota to ensuring quality education to children in the rural communities.
On this episode, Judith will be talking much more about the organization, how they’ve been able to successfully implemented amazing projects over the years being a non-for-profit, and lots more.
She is a young change maker and an amazing lady!
