Time sure flies! hehe. Speaking of time...

A point has no depth, no height, and no width -- it is nothing by definition.

A line is a string of points, nothings chained together.

A plane (Flatland) is an infinite number of lines woven together. To do this, the lines must cross/touch since they have no width.

Our dimension, the 3D, is comprised of an infinite number of planes.

If you were a resident of Flatland, you would not be able to see see that you are just one of an infinite number of Flatlands inside a shape you can't comprehend. If you did see the intersection of another nearby Flatland, it would look like a line to you -- you would only see the intersection, not the whole picure.

This is how parallel universes work. Time is the line that we perceive when our 3D universe intersects with nearby 3D universes. The choices you make within each moment of time determine which parallel universe you will enter next. Your line is yours alone; you are the only person who keeps you company in every moment of your life. The rest are just fellow travelers whose own lines are intersecting with yours for a while.

Recorded 24 hours after wheels-down in El Salvador, these are my first impressions.

I'm fully immersed in nature here and experiencing a massive surge of creative energy.

This one will be interesting to listen to a year from now, I think. It feels like a massive timeline shift.

I have been undergoing a major life transformation and have not had time to record an episode lately. This one was recorded months ago but never released, so here it is.

This episode explores one of the dangers of AI -- that it could lead us all in to a Matrix-like existence where we plug into a pod and have AI kick us a VR world from which we never escape -- and the trump card of NI -- that you can choose to unplug and be creative with your own mind, body, and soul at any time. Also in this episode, I (sort of) played a song that I hadn't played in ten years. It's a good one off the GoodBoy album that I recorded with Band X. It's the first song on the album, "Sing a Song." You can hear the remnants that I was able to recover from memory here in this episode. If you're one of those weirdos who enjoys my acoustic performances, you'll probably enjoy this episode, even though the performance is a bit raggedy as it was dredged up from memory out of the blue; isn't that the essence of NI, though?

Anyway, this was a good episode, and I'm not sure why I didn't release it.

Never mind the clickbait title, this episode is about competition and comparison. Those who listen just might sign up for tennis lessons. ;-)

I didn't actually mention anything explicitly about NI or AI in this episode because it's so obvious. AI might actually have an advantage here because it is not competing or comparing out of a sense of ego.

Anyhoo...

It's you against you in the end. Those who compete at the highest level in any field are those who compete most intensely with themselves. AI can't do that because it needs external input to do its thing since it doesn't have a soul, at least not a high-ranking soul, maybe some "ghost in the machine" at best.

So you want to be rich and beautiful and highly skilled to the extent that only the best of the best can compete with you, and you welcome that competition because it only helps make you better?

I referred you back to the "Music of the Spheres" episode during this episode so let me just drop that link right off the bat. Another chapter you mght want to review is the very first episode of this podcast.

In the last episode, I mentioned the North Star. It's basically your purpose, your truth. In this episode I talk about how to use that, because in itself it doesn't tell you anything except what direction is what.

To navigate, triangulate against what I call "seasonal stars" which are all the other stars in the sky. Each season of your life will align with a seasonal star, and there are a kajillion of them. This is essentially the main focus of your life for a period. In one season, it might be "learning," In another it might be "health." In others it might be your family or fun or exploration or adventure or creativity or... a million other beautiful things.

And remember that most truth is subjective, only as true as your discernment is sharp.

Philosophers have long contemplated the atheist's touché go-to, aka, the Problem of Evil. If God is omniscient (all-knowing), omnibenevolent (all-good), and omnipotent (all-powerful), why does He/She/It allow evil to exist in the world?

I don't care what you call it, and I don't care if you're uncomfortable with the word "god." I'm not trying to start a cult or get you to believe anything. Call it whatever you want, but once you "tap in," you just know that all of this is orchestrated and created by something so mind-blowingly wonderful that you can't unsee it once you see it. It's beyond obvious.

So all those smug little anti-Godders who think all this is just... what? An accident? Pointless? Here is where I hack your most hackneyed objection to bloody bits in a way that no philosopher or guru or Rolls Royce-driving charismatic cult leader has ever done.
