Nicci Toomey is an inspirational writer, speaker, and author of The Time is Now, a call to the church and its people to take a fresh look at the great commission.
Having spent equal amounts of time in a small community church and a multi-campus global church, Nicci draws from her experience serving in a wide range of ministries behind the scenes, among the people, and from the platform. On completing a Cert IV in Ministry (Pastoral Leadership), she felt compelled to veer off the study path and pursue writing.
After walking more years without Jesus than with Him, Nicci is uniquely positioned to understand both sides of the evangelical call. Her greatest desire is to encourage people to place their hope in Jesus and, once discovered, share that hope with those around them.
Navigating her family’s multiple disabilities means life is not always easy. Still, Nicci trusts the light of Jesus in her and has the power to shine bright for all to see because God doesn’t need a perfect life, simply a surrendered one.

Nicci is a wife and mother living on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, Australia. Categorising herself as an ‘introverted people lover’ who relishes a quiet, calm environment, you’ll likely find her in a quiet corner somewhere or laughing and loving life with friends.
