Nice Legs! Nice Book!

Just finished reading âNice Legsâ by Larry Zeiger and Jack Beddows. Fantastic reading. Not only did it recount both factual and imaginative reminiscences of the authorsâ lives, but the book gave me an appreciation of wineâand how wine choice can complement oneâs memories and journeys

.

My favorite was the story about George the duck. Youâve got to read it to realize how cleverly Larry relates his experience with a haute cuisine dinner to an experience as a child with his pet duck.

I canât wait for Larry and Jackâs next book! Iâd love to go to dinner with these two creative geniuses and see their creative juices flowingâand of course, the wine!

Wonderful Book of Tales Living in San Diego!

I love this book! What a great idea between two people from different backgrounds who wind up together sharing really interesting and often funny tales of their lives since the day each had arrived in San Diego to stay!! I found myself relating to some of their stories which included places I have been and still go to and the restaurants most of us have frequented. Not to mention the interesting people we come across in the communities of San Diego! How funny each chapter was! The 2 authors write as if you are in the same room with them and they are personally telling you their stories. I think it is a great intro for new people in San Diego as well as a great read for all of us who have been here most or, all our lives!

Nice Legs! from a pair of (often) naughty boys.

The authors must have had a great time writing this, although they probably don't remember much of that part. The stories they shared in their various wine bars (and cups) are fun to read. But here's a tip: enjoy the recommended wine with each chapter, and read the book aloud. These are stories meant for telling. I only wish they had mentioned real names!

This book is wildly entertaining. It contains all manner of wacky characters and life episodes in short stories. The premise of the escapism of good wine initiates Jack and Larry to leave the stresses of the current day behind to reminicse on stories of good, bad and hilarious times before. There is nothing better that sipping on good wine and swapping stories with an old friend; however, reading these entertaining tales alone with a good glass of wine is a close second.

Great Book

Extremely well written book. Make sure you are not in hurry when reading this book. The wine will add to the adventures that the author describes ... this short stories actually happened in real life.

I highly recommend this book ... a good way to open our eyes to other perspectives and see things from other minds.
