Nichelle Nichols passed away at the age of 89 this past week. She was a true pioneer for black women, showing those like her that anything was possible. Nichelle Nichols was given a platform at a time when those weren't given to people who looked like her. She used it for good. Representation is very important, but does everyone feel as if they are represented? In today's world, the US feels more regional than ever. How can we remedy that using Ms. Nichols' inspiration?
