Prime Minster Jacinda Ardern has reached millions of people, on America's Today Show.
The Prime Minister made the case for "compassionate government" to a breakfast TV audience of four million people.
It's one of several media appearances she's expected to make during UN Leader's Week.
US correspondent Nick Bryant told Mike Hosking the significance of the interview shouldn't be understated.
"They gave her a big slot this morning judging it by how normally New Zealand Prime Ministers come to New York and often fly under the radar."
