Nick "Gunny Pop" Popaditch, Cigar Marine joins Political Pistachio to discuss his run for Congress

Listen Later

"The Cigar Marine" was photographed lighting up a cigar on his tank as the statue of Sadam Hussein was toppling behind him. A tank commander in Iraq, "Gunny Pop" epitomizes the valor and courage of the proud members of the United States Marine Corps. His book, Once a Marine, details his journey back to the civilian world that begins when an RPG hits his tank as he is looking through the open slit that reveals to those within the tank what is going on outside. The explosion filled his head with shrapnel, and changed his life forever.
Now, the Silver Star recipient is moving forward. With a patch of one of his eyes, and that same Marine Corps courage within, Nick Popaditch is running for U.S. Congress. He stands on the principles of the U.S. Constitution which demands the government exist with limitations, whose authorities are only those given by the U.S. Constitution.
A return guest, tonight Nick Popaditch is joining the Political Pistachio Radio Revolution to discuss his candidacy. Join us live at 7:00 pm Pacific/10:00 pm Eastern, and feel free to call in to ask him questions at 646-652-2940. Conservative News and Commentary
