Talent will always win out.  At least, I hope so.  Talent and creativity and humor and perseverance.  But all of us need a moment that opens the window to the rest of our lives.  That window opened for Nick Hornby during a conversation with an agent that was not going particularly well.  Nick decided “what the hell” at the end of the conversation and pitched a book idea that he knew would be rejected by the agent.   The agent loved the idea and Nick Hornby was off and running.  How lucky for us to be along for the ride.I hope you enjoy part 2 of my conversation with Nick Hornby.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.Learn more about your ad choices.
