Nick Perry shares his thoughts on how the UK is leading the way in the European Power and Gas markets
Nick Perry started his career in the oil business, then moved to natural gas, then electricity. In the 1990's he was a Board Director of Enron Europe, and of Teesside Power Ltd. In 1997 he left to set up a firm providing specialised risk management software and consulting for companies trading energy. This venture was floated on the NASDAQ in 2000, after which Nick became an independent commercial energy consultant specialising in portfolio and transaction-structuring, risk management, derivatives and financial products, market dynamics and regulation in competitive energy markets.
