Hour 2 -
Good Tuesday morning! Here's what Nick Reed covers this hour:
- The man whom authorities have said set fire to Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro's home while he and his family were sleeping at 2 am has said he is a registered socialist and has shared support from the BLM movement.
- An Albuquerque man has been charged in connection with two politically charged arson attacks—one targeting a Tesla dealership and the other the Republican Party of New Mexico’s headquarters.
- The DOJ announced it charged a Georgia man with sending violent threats against the head of the Trump administration’s intelligence community. Aliakbar Mohammad Amin, 24, allegedly sent threats to Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and her family over text and social media posts.
- The FBI has accessed several “overseas” encrypted email accounts belonging to Thomas Matthew Crooks, the man who attempted to assassinate Donald Trump.
- On Sunday’s episode of CNN’s MisinfoNation, Taylor Lorenz played apologist for alleged murderer Luigi Mangione — who is accused of gunning down a health care CEO in cold blood. Lorenz shamelessly described Mangione as a “morally good man” and a “revolutionary,” even cracking jokes when addressing criticisms leveled at him. But there is nothing humorous about murder. Lorenz’s dismissive attitude is not just tasteless; it’s part of a broader, calculated effort by the left to normalize political violence and numb the American public to its rising frequency.
