• The House version of Trump’s legislative package promised that no Medicaid dollars “shall be used to make payments to a prohibited entity for items and services furnished during a 10-year period.” The Senate version, however, cut that provision down to prohibit only twelve months of taxpayer-funded abortion.
• Missouri Sen. Schmitt dismissed rumors suggesting that the Medicaid ban for illegal immigrants had been removed from the bill. He referenced page 602, section 77109, confirming that the amendment remains part of the legislation. He emphasized that the Big Beautiful Bill will remove Medicaid coverage from 1.4 million illegal immigrants.
• CNN’s Senior Data Reporter, Harry Enten, shared that the love GOP voters have for President Trump is ‘record breaking’ and he is ‘more beloved’ than any other GOP President.
