Artist Nicole Chui talks us through her introduction to embroidery and how it would serve not only as a creative outlet, but a tool for self-expression and, ultimately, pave the way for her career as an artist and collaborations with Adidas, Nike, and Manchester United to name a few.

She shares the importance of community in her life, manifested in the form of Baesianz FC, a London-based team for women, trans, and non-binary people of Asian heritage, as well as overcoming lack of self-belief, trusting the mistakes, and being grateful for family.
