Nicole Heffel served in the United States Navy as a Master-at-Arms for 5 years, under both Marine Corps and Navy commands. During her active duty enlistment she was able to complete her undergraduate degree, despite the high demands of the military. After transitioning from active duty, Nicole went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
