We need to talk about all the black pants in the Australian Men’s T20 World Cup cricket kit. And also about the most incredible match between India and Pakistan, witnessed by over 90,000 people at the MCG and viewed around the world by millions. Matt Hayden wasn’t wrong when he said it would be the penultimate of any cricketing tournament.

The final round of AFLW happened over the weekend and to mark this we had a chat with former swimmer, commentator and now General Manager of the AFLW, Nicole Livingstone. We practically want to start playing AFLW tomorrow, and love her take on funding for women’s sport in Australia. 

There’s been a lot of commentary around netball over the last couple of weeks and if you haven’t seen the footage of Donnell Wallam taking a layup for the final point to win the match, you really should. It’s practically a movie ending.  On the sponsorship saga, we don’t add a lot to this other than we need to do so much better with our First Nations people.

Of course there’s a bit of  F1 banter. 

We couldn’t do an episode without a big shout out to James Brougham aka Salty Jocks for nearly (only 4kms to go) finishing his 500km challenge to raise money for the RFDS. 

Finally, Michelle Lee is currently rowing from the US to Australia and we talk about the fact that after a day stuck inside her tiny little cabin due to weather, she decided to head out and row in it anyway. What’s not to love.
