Filipino veteran actress Nida Blanca was found dead on November 7, 2001, in Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila. Her husband became the prime suspect, along with an alleged hitman who surrendered to the police. The two main suspects died before the murder trial for the killing of the veteran actress could be concluded. To this day, the perpetrators and the reason for Nida Blanca’s killing remain a mystery.
