Nigel Holland is a founder of the world class band Evil Woman “The American ELO.” The Electric Light Orchestra, known around the world as the “Premier Orchestral Rock & Roll Band," pumped out many great hits in the 1970’s like Can't Get It Out of My Head, Strange Magic & Evil Woman. There was no other band quite like them. They combined the beat of disco thumpers, outlandish space-age iconography, triumphant classical orchestral arrangements, and gentle, intricate harmonies influenced by the Beatles.

In this podcast, Nigel discusses:

Why they are called the American ELO

What should we expect at an ELO concert

What attracted him most to the Electric Light Orchestra music

Who were his musical influences

What Success principals he feels contribute to his success

What makes Evil different than other bands in your same genre

Why they chose to go with the name Evil Woman and what does that iconic ELO song mean to him
