Based in Cardiff, Nigel Pugh is a Social and Environmental photographer with a passion for documenting and promoting the relationship between people and the ecology of the natural environment in and around their local communities.
His event and documentary photography records the tensions between ordinary citizens, activists, State and business in protecting an ongoing symbiotic relationship with nature and the promotion of a more socially equitable society. In 2015 he staged his first photography exhibition YOUR NATURE - ‘TO PRESERVE AN EPHEMERAL STATE’ in Cardiff with a percentage of print sales going to Friends of the Earth Cyrmu and Wildlife Trusts Wales.
