This week on The Watchers, Victoria Bert and Kevin Marable take a closer look at Night Patrol, a new horror film that riffs on policing, power, and survival.

The film imagines a rogue, vampire police unit terrorizing a Los Angeles housing project, forcing rival gangs to unite against a shared enemy.

Victoria and Kevin are joined by actor Nicki Micheaux, who plays the film’s matriarch and mystic, for a conversation about character, symbolism, and her turn in horror.

Night Patrol is directed by Ryan Prows, the film stars Nicki Micheaux, Jermaine Fowler, RJ Cyler, Justin Long, Dermot Mulroney, and CM Punk.

Night Patrol drops on January 16, 2026.
