After Dark Day, when the entire world was blanketed in darkness for 24 hours, Earth has become a more dangerous place, haunted by the forces of evil. None are more aware of this than four young college students who have undergone a strange metamorphosis into NIGHTBANE! The PCs fight the feds and escape, are introduced to Club Freak, the secret Nightbane-only night club, and its owner, Cheney. He asks them to do a job for him in return for his protection.
