Max Archer is the son of the king of Avron, which means that the only proper school for him to attend is the prestigious Nightcrest High. However, it's getting difficult for him to focus in his classes since his mother passed, and the increasing pressure his father is putting on him doesn't help. To make matters worse, he suspects one of the students at Nightcrest is using magic, which is illegal across all the kingdoms. He doesn't want his classmate to be executed (no matter how annoying he might be), but he also doesn't want his friends to get hurt. Will he turn the student over to the police? Or will he find other methods to deal with the criminal?
