Nigunim are the pen of the soul. In Chabad, nigunim are a necessary tool to develop one’s mind and heart. A healthy mind has a healthy heart and a healthy heart requires a healthy soulful nigun. Some have words others don’t. This nigun as taught by the Rebbe’s chief communicator of his Torah teachings and the lead Mashpia, spiritual counselor at the 770 yeshiva taught Rabbi Dalfin the proper way to sing it. He in turn interprets it into daily living.
