Nikola Jokić Makes His MVP Case CLEAR, Nuggets Win 9th Straight
The Denver Nuggets are on a heater right now, winning their 9th consecutive game Monday night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Denver was down as many as 18 points in the second half, but Nikola Jokic helped throttle his team to yet another win. Jokic was sensational, logging yet another triple double while both Aaron Gordon and Cam Johnson up the ante late to help secure the victory for Denver. Jokic again showed why he is deserving of the MVP this season as the Nuggets also leapfrogged the Los Angeles Lakers for control of the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.
