Niles North Theatre with guest Megan Baskin!

Listen Later

Today's guest is the theater director at Niles North High School in Skokie.

She received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in theater, comparative literature, and psychology, and then attended Harvard's Arts and Education Master's program.

Her first three years of teaching were in music appreciation and theater at Holy Trinity High School, where she directed their first two productions in over 15 years. The following five years, she taught English and coached debate at the University of Chicago Charter School’s Woodlawn Campus, and in 2014 transferred to Niles North High School to teach English and start their speech team.

She eventually took over as a theater director at Niles North, and has been a staple there ever since, directing various productions such as School of Rock, The Prom, and The Addams Family.

I hope you enjoyed that conversation with Megan Baskin. Now let's go to the top of the show.
