She moved to Montreal, Canada when she was 12 years old and studied Creative Writing at Concordia University, in Montreal, following her graduation from High School. She speaks Russian, French, and English, but pens her novels in English. The original draft of her first novel, Girl Last Seen, was written while she was attending Concordia. It was published to rave review in June of 2017.
