The CPSC and Segway are recalling Ninebot Children’s Bicycle Helmets. These helmets do not comply with federal bike helmet positional stability and retention system requirements and fail to protect a child’s head during a crash. About 960 of these helmets were sold at Best Buy and other retailers and online at Segway.com and Amazon.com. Stop using these defective helmets and contact Segway by phone at 1-888-523-5583 or via email at [email protected] to arrange for a prepaid shipping label to return the product for a refund.
