On Saturday, Channel Nine's Telethon raised 10 million dollars for Mater's Little Miracles.
The record-breaking amount will go towards neonatal intensive care and maternal-fetal medicine.
The host of Nine's Telethon Melissa Downes told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, "The part of the Telethon that we all love being part of is representing and showcasing all of the extended family of Mater, from all the staff, the researchers, the doctors, all the specialists, right down to the people who work in the wards and then the families and that's what we love."
