Ninna V - Wetiko (Nick Bowman Remix) [Rawsery Records]

It was around week 3 into a course I was doing about Wetiko with Paul Levy when the universe provided a wonderful synchronicity. My friend Ninna V invited me to do a remix of a track she had just completed for her Wetiko EP. I was really enthused by the idea and enjoyed working on the track and was inspired to make a music video to accompany it. The name “Wetiko” comes from the Native Americans and it can be described as a mind virus and an evil spirit that has the potential to possess anyone. We can certainly see over the last few years that the Wetiko spirit has been busy. The first step to dispelling Wetiko is being aware of its presence and looking within to see how we could be manifesting Wetiko in our own lives and as a collective. To delve deeper into what Wetiko is, I highly recommend the book “Dispelling Wetiko” by Paul Levy. Wetiko EP is out now on Rawsery Records with remixes from A.Paul and me.
