Richard Yardumian

Richard Yardumian was an Armenian-American composer. The book Emanuel Swedenborg:  A Continuing Vision[p. 73] states that Richard was "notably influenced by the theology of Emanuel Swedenborg and whose music gained international recognition..."  As an adult, he was active in The Lord's New Church in Bryn Athyn until he died at age 68 in 1985.

He married a Swedenborgian woman named Ruth Seckelman. Their son, Nishan Yardumian, was a painter.

He is most noted for his composition, Armenian Suite, which has been performed by orchestras around the world.
