PingAura presents the SMARTIES Special of The Nishant Bhardwaj Show, powered by MMA (Marketing+Media Alliance), featuring Moneka Khurana, MD and board member at MMA, who brings 26 years of building brands across every shift in Indian digital marketing. She argues AI should stop being a content gimmick and start being a fluency every marketer needs. It's a great equaliser since it's democratised; what separates brands is how deliberately they apply it. CMOs strong on fundamentals shouldn't fear replacement; the risk is not building it as a team skill. She's direct that being AEO-ready and GEO-ready is no longer optional: around 60% of consumers already discover brands through LLMs, and a brand absent there is out of the consideration set. A study by MMA India during IPL 2026 found major sponsors barely visible on LLMs, while smaller brands investing in LLM visibility saw far more reach. She frames it as an exchange: incumbent brands bring resilience and distribution, insurgents bring agility and cultural relevance, pointing to Indie Wild, a Gen Z skincare brand, as insurgent marketing done right. Her position is human-led, AI-assisted; she'd back a strong AI-generated campaign, but doesn't believe an "Agent CMO" will replace a human one, since judgment can't be synthetic. At MMA, close to 60 AI agents run against a team of 9-10 people, with 95% of its coding done by AI.Her closing message: collective wisdom over guarded expertise, since marketers who share what they're learning, rather than hoard it, compound their advantage fastest. This episode is part of PingAura's collaboration with MMA ahead of SMARTIES 2026, MMA's benchmark award for creative excellence.Honouring the most effective, creative, and innovative marketing campaigns across the digital landscape. Vijay Rajagopal has lived five or six careers inside one 25-year run, from private equity to co-founding Zeta, PayPal, scaling Amazon Pay's merchant business 20 to 30x, AWS's BFSI go-to-market, and now leading growth for Nugget, Zomato's agentic AI platform. His philosophy: the biggest risk in a career is not taking risks at all.
He names three qualities that separate founders who succeed today:
1. learning agility
2. understanding that what gets a business from 0 to 1 won't get it from 1 to 10 or 10 to 100
3. asking the right questions while empowering people smarter than yourself.
On what actually creates a moat now that AI makes products easy to copy, he points to deep workflow integration, trust built over years in high-stakes industries, and distribution, since great distribution beats a better product with no reach.
On AI and jobs, his view: AI won't replace humans, but humans who use AI effectively will replace those who don't. The durable skills are critical thinking, empathy, and knowing which problems are worth solving. He also frames the next few years as a shift from "Software as a Service" to "Service as Software," where AI agents handle entire workflows and pricing moves toward outcomes.

FAQs
What actually creates a business moat in the age of AI?
Deep workflow integration that raises switching costs, trust built over time in high-stakes industries, and strong distribution, since a well-distributed average product can beat a superior product with no reach.
Will AI replace human jobs?
AI itself won't replace humans, but people who use AI effectively will replace those who don't, with durable value coming from critical thinking, empathy, and framing the right problems to solve.
What does the shift from Software as a Service to Service as Software mean?
Instead of dashboards and tools for users to do work themselves, autonomous AI agents increasingly handle entire workflows end-to-end, with pricing shifting toward outcomes rather than per-seat licenses.

Voosh helps restaurant chains across North America run their delivery business profitably, but the company only found that focus after two full pivots.
Kshitiz, the founder, started by building something closer to OYO for restaurants in India, working with more than 200 outlets in Bangalore and uncovering massive operational leakages along the way. The second attempt was 10-minute food delivery, abandoned once the capital requirements proved too heavy. What stuck was software: automating back-of-house restaurant operations across DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub, including financial reconciliation, reputation management, ad spend, and dispute management.
He moved the business to target the US market, citing higher software purchasing propensity there, and landed his first customer through cold outreach alone. That customer became a design partner, shaped the product through direct feedback, and referred others.
His advice for early-stage founders targeting the US centres on knowing your ideal customer profile precisely. For Voosh, pizza chains with under 20 outlets in Texas converted ten times faster than broader outreach. He pairs a tightly defined ICP with messaging focused on the transformation a product delivers, not a feature list. Until a startup hits real product-market fit, customers paying repeatedly and unable to live without the product- he argues founders should be willing to do things that don't scale.
On mentorship and fundraising, his view is blunt: take full responsibility for your own decisions before leaning on mentors, and remember conviction matters more than capital when raising. His filter for whether to raise VC money at all: wait until you already have traction and paying customers.
He got into Y Combinator on his first attempt by being completely honest in the application, on the theory that YC can detect exaggeration easily across the tens of thousands of applicants it reviews each batch. On what actually creates a defensible business now that software is easy to build, his answer is genuine customer obsession: understanding a client's actual workflow deeply enough to deliver outcomes competitors can't easily replicate.

Saina Nehwal started playing badminton at 9, became world number two at 20, and world number one at 25. On this episode of the Nishant Bhardwaj Show, she steps away from the season's usual AI-in-industry format to talk about what it actually takes to stay at the top of anything for decades. Her core message is about patience in a culture built for instant results. She sees young athletes and their parents quit or switch coaches within months of not seeing results, when building real mastery took her 16 years between her first title and becoming world number one. She's candid that comparison, amplified by social media, makes this worse, and advises treating it as entertainment rather than a measure of your own progress. The most striking part of the conversation is her account of the 2016 Rio Olympics. Days before competing as the reigning world number one, she developed unexplained knee pain that turned out to be a broken bone growth, discovered only after she cut the trip short and got an MRI in Mumbai. She played through it anyway rather than give a walkover, in what she calls the only match in 500 career games where she didn't perform at her best. Surgery followed, then a deliberate return: gym sessions twice a day, three months of rehab before playing again, and a string of wins afterwards, including a Commonwealth Games gold. She's direct about what made the comeback possible: physical training rebuilds the body, but the mental discipline to sit with discomfort is what she says is genuinely hard to build. She also opens up about the sacrifices behind her career that rarely get discussed publicly, including her father taking loans for equipment and travel to shield her from financial stress. On AI specifically, she's measured. Technology already tracks heart rate, sleep, and shot placement for top athletes, but she doesn't see it replacing recovery, mental toughness, and the willingness to execute under pressure. Her closing message, aimed at the CEOs and founders who make up much of the show's audience, is simple: health and fitness directly affect how well you can lead, and burnout tends to come from doing work you don't actually love, not from working hard at something you do.Join our WhatsApp community for updates on AI and agentic marketing, and let's monetise AI together - https://chat.whatsapp.com/ERT8JAHJBkp1L5Vf7zTtuzSubscribe to our newsletter for weekly podcast roundups and more news and updates - https://pingaura.ai/newsletter?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep7Follow Saina Nehwal -Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nehwalsaina/Follow the podcast on - Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajshow/ Website - https://nishantbhardwaj.media?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep7Follow Nishant on - LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/nishantbhardwaj11 Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajofficialCheck your AI visibility for free, build your new distribution channel inside AI, and monetise AI with PingAura, the best AEO platform - https://pingaura.ai?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep7FAQsHow long did it take Saina Nehwal to become world number one?She started playing at age 9, became world number two at 20, and reached world number one at 25, a 16-year progression. What happened to Saina Nehwal at the 2016 Rio Olympics? She developed unexplained knee pain days before competing as the reigning world number one. She played through the pain rather than withdraw, later discovering a broken bone growth in her knee that required surgery. How does patience relate to becoming elite in any field?Building real mastery takes years of consistent effort, not weeks or months. Great data beats a great algorithm, every time, in the long run. That's the core thesis Rahul from Sense AI lays out on this episode of the Nishant Bhardwaj Show.Rahul is a serial entrepreneur who exited three businesses before becoming an early-stage investor, starting with a 2004 project solving how computers parse Japanese, a language with no spaces between words. That business landed clients like Honda and Toyota before he sold it in 2016.His thesis rests on a number most people overlook. AI labs have trained on roughly 4% of the world's digital data: the public internet. The other 96% isn't digital or isn't public. Businesses built on that remaining 96% will end up more defensible than ones relying on the same public data everyone else uses. He's candid about his own fund's numbers too. Sense AI reviewed 1,263 startup pitches last year and invested in just six. Of those they've backed, 92% have gone on to raise follow-on funding, an unusually high graduation rate for early-stage investing.1:21 - Introduction & Guest Welcome2:31 - From Entrepreneur to AI Investor: The Japanese Big Data Story5:00 - Why He Chose Investing Over Building Himself6:52 - A VC's Role: Guiding Founders, Not Deciding for Them9:01 - Building a Vision Without a Crystal Ball10:39 - From CRM Pain to Lead Generation13:04 - Evaluating Startups Now That Building Is Cheap15:39 - Debunking "AI Will Build Every Business"16:42 - Lessons From the Internet Era: Google, Yahoo & Infrastructure18:16 - Why Data Beats Algorithms Long-Term20:29 - When AI Slop Fails Customers22:13 - Where Value Shifts: Oracle and the "Cement vs Paint" Analogy23:56 - Applied AI vs Frontier Models: Where Value Gets Captured25:02 - Sovereign AI and Strategic Independence27:03 - Electricity, Internet, and Where Margins Actually Go29:52 - Falling Price Per Token and Rising Margins32:22 - Does FOMO Ever Win in AI Investing?36:38 - Separating Price From the Investment Decision40:01 - How a VC Fund Actually Makes Money44:00 - Why Not Every Good Business Is Venture-Fundable47:16 - Putting Founders First, Even in Rejection50:41 - The Power Dynamics Between Founders and VCs56:07 - What Makes Being a VC Rewarding58:19 - Sense AI's Moat in a Crowded Market1:04:11 - Rapid Fire Round1:12:07 - Final Thoughts & ClosingJoin our WhatsApp community for updates on AI and agentic marketing, and let's monetise AI together - https://chat.whatsapp.com/ERT8JAHJBkp1L5Vf7zTtuzSubscribe to our newsletter for weekly podcast roundups and more news and updates - https://pingaura.ai/newsletter?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep6Follow Rahul Agarwalla-https://www.linkedin.com/in/rahulagarwalla/Follow the podcast on -Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajshow/Website - https://nishantbhardwaj.media?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep6Follow Nishant on -LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/nishantbhardwaj11Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajofficialCheck your AI visibility for free, build your new distribution channel inside AI, and monetise AI with PingAura - https://pingaura.ai?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep6What percentage of the world's data have AI labs actually trained on?Roughly 4%, according to Rahul, since large labs have trained primarily on public digital data. In the AEO world, getting found no longer matters. Getting recommended does.
That's how Sanjay Chaudhary, Head of Enterprise Marketing at SAP, reframes AI search on this episode. He backs it up with a specific figure: roughly 250 million people aged 15 to 35 in India already use ChatGPT and Perplexity as their primary sources of information.
His breakdown of AEO versus traditional SEO is direct. In AI search, only about 30% of your visibility comes from what you control: your website, your technical SEO. The other 70% depends on off-page trust, your editorial coverage, social presence, and multimodal content- the kind of validation AI treats as more credible than anything a brand says about itself.
The conversation goes beyond AEO too. Sanjay, a self-described nonlinear marketer across SAP, Oracle, Intellect Design, and fintech startup Lentra, breaks down his Revenue, Relationships, Reputation framework for events, how a resource-constrained startup can get partners to co-invest in a major event, and why marketing's future is humans managing AI agents, not being replaced by them.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Join our WhatsApp community for updates on AI and agentic marketing, and let's monetise AI together - https://chat.whatsapp.com/ERT8JAHJBkp1L5Vf7zTtuzSubscribe to our newsletter for weekly podcast roundups and more news and updates - https://pingaura.ai/newsletter?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep5-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Follow Sanjay Chaudhary- https://www.linkedin.com/in/sanjay-k-chaudhary/-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Follow the podcast on -Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajshow/Website - https://nishantbhardwaj.media?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep5-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Follow Nishant on -LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/nishantbhardwaj11Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajofficial-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Check your AI visibility for free, build your new distribution channel inside AI, and monetise AI with PingAura - https://pingaura.ai?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep5-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------FAQs
What's the difference between SEO and AEO?In SEO, you control most of your visibility directly. In AEO, roughly 70% depends on off-page trust signals like editorial coverage and social validation, not just your website.
How many people in India use AI tools as their main source of information?Roughly 250 million people aged 15 to 35 in India already use ChatGPT and Perplexity as a primary source of information.
What is the Revenue, Relationships, Reputation framework?A way to measure event success beyond pipeline generated: revenue from converted deals, relationships built or strengthened, and reputation gained through the platform.
Can a startup run a major event on a limited budget?Yes, by convincing ecosystem partners like technology providers to co-invest, since a strong event benefits them too by bringing in shared customers.
Episode 4 of Season 7 of the Nishant Bhardwaj Show features Sahil Jindal in conversation with Nishant Bhardwaj about AI in Manufacturing.Sahil shares how AI is transforming manufacturing, what it means to carry the Jindal family legacy, and how he balances a billion-dollar family business with building his own startup, Trevel.Sahil Jindal is building the fourth generation of a manufacturing legacy that began in 1950. In this episode, he discusses how AI is being used on factory floors today, why he invests in founders over ideas, and what makes a startup fundable. He explores practical AI use cases including compiling weeks of data into hours, summarising long documents with tools like GPT, analysing historical trends to sync supply and demand, and building real-time dashboards connecting multiple factories from shop floor to dispatch.Sahil also discusses India's manufacturing gap with China, the role of government policy, AI adoption challenges, Trevel, his premium EV cab startup, and Siora Capital, his investment arm named after his daughters. His advice for young founders is straightforward: register your trademark, avoid operating as a sole proprietorship while raising funds, don't upgrade your lifestyle immediately after funding, stay humble, and never do anything half-heartedly.----------------------------------------------------------------------Join our WhatsApp community for updates on AI and agentic marketing, and let's monetise AI together - https://chat.whatsapp.com/ERT8JAHJBkp1L5Vf7zTtuz Subscribe to our newsletter for weekly podcast roundups and more news and updates - https://pingaura.ai/newsletter?utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep4----------------------------------------------------------------------Follow Sahil Jindal -LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/sahiljindal/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/sahiljindal_official/Check out Trevel - https://www.trevel.in/homepage?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep4----------------------------------------------------------------------Follow the podcast on -Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajshow/Website - https://nishantbhardwaj.media?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep4----------------------------------------------------------------------Follow Nishant on -LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/nishantbhardwaj11Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nishantbhardwajofficial----------------------------------------------------------------------Check your AI visibility for free, build your new distribution channel inside AI, and monetise AI with PingAura - https://pingaura.ai?utm_source=spotify&utm_medium=description&utm_campaign=s7ep4----------------------------------------------------------------------FAQsQ.
