Nisreen Elsaim is a Sudanese leader in the climate movement, as well as the Chairperson of the UN Secretary-General's Youth Advisory on Climate Change. After receiving her degree in Physics and Renewable energy, in addition to gaining experience through being an International Junior Negotiator and involvement with various African climate groups, she is well versed in the impacts of the environmental crises (specifically on Sudan). Today, we spoke about her experiences, the effect of climate change on low-income countries, gender inequalities, and the link between climate and conflict.
