Although one might feel like we are a very weak and small nation, when Moshe entered the Jewish people into a covenant and oath together with Hashem it was for all the people than and for all future generations bonding them together above time and space and therefore when we learn Torah and do mitzvahs we’re bonding ourselves with all generations making us a very big and powerful and beautiful nation.
