Niyaz Khan is an IAS officer from the Madhya Pradesh cadre, who is known for his views on cow protection, Sanatana Dharma, and Bollywood. He has authored over half a dozen books, including one on Gangster Abu Salem's 'love story', triple talaq, and Brahmins. Khan has stirred numerous controversies in the past due to his progressive thinking and pro-Hindu writings.

Khan has blamed Bollywood for religious conversions in India and also criticizes the Hindi film industry for portraying Brahmins in a negative light in movies. He was at the centre of controversy when his novel criticizing triple talaq was burned by clerics at mosques in Bhopal and Guna.

In the latest episode of the ANI Podcast with Smita Prakash, Niyaz advocates for cow protection in India and says Muslims should respect the sentiments of Hindus. He says the biggest treasure of Sanatana Dharma is the Vedic scriptures and also urges Muslims to adopt vegetarianism, keeping climate change in mind.

Additionally, He speaks his mind on religious conversion, stating that non-Muslims should not be forced to convert. Khan is open about his admiration for Brahmins. He has written a book, 'Brahmin the Great,' claiming that they have superb intellect. If given intellectual leadership, things can improve within the country.
