With ethnic parents, comparison is going to happen. It's apart of their nature, regardless of the intent. We’ll discuss our experiences, some of which many of you can relate to. But more importantly how you can learn and grow from these types of traumas.

As young adults, we can’t help but compare ourselves to other people’s standards. But in reality, standards are what you define them to be. It’s time for us to determine our own standards and stop comparing ourselves to one another.

Fam ask yourself this: Do you have a serial number? Were you mass-produced? The answer is no. We aren't an iPhone or Alexa — we are all unique. You are WHO YOU ARE — OWN THAT.
