Dr Chieke Ihejirika is an American scholar of African history and political science and has been a faculty member at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania in the Department of History and Political Science since 2004. Dr. Ihejirika is recently awarded the first Freedom and Peace Award,   He was honored with Licoln University's first Freedom and Peace Award and the Nnamdi Azikiwe Professor of political Science. Dr. Ihejirika co-authored two books, Pantheon of Political Philosophers (2010) and Freedom and Prosperity in the 21st Century (2011) and several scholarly articles and book chapters.
